More on Urgent Care
The Agile approach to Urgent Care
Urgent care is for non-life-threatening conditions where treatment is needed quickly. Agile provides rapid, hassle-free urgent care when it matters most in our modern and conveniently located clinics with same-day appointments available most of the time.
Are walk-ins available?
Walk-ins are welcome at our clinics that offer urgent care, depending on availability. Feel free to book an appointment while you are on your way. This may speed up the check-in process and secure an available time.
Can urgent care refill my medications?
Yes they can. Depending upon the type of medication and the last time it was refilled, your clinicians will discuss options available for a refill, new medication or connecting you with a primary care provider.
What kinds of tests can urgent care perform with same day results?
There are a variety of tests available such as flu, strep throat, and COVID. If you are experiencing pain with urination or STI symptoms then urgent can help with those as well.
When should I go to urgent care vs an emergency room?
Urgent care can provide care for mild symptoms such as fever, cough, vomiting or diarrhea and injuries such as a cut, sprains/strains or broken bones. If you are experiencing the onset of severe pain or symptoms such as difficulty breathing, chest, abdominal pain or stroke like symptoms go to the ER.
When should I visit urgent care vs a primary care clinician?
If you are experiencing a mild illness such as a fever, cough, sore throat or sustained an injury that is need of immediate attention you should go to urgent care. See a primary care provider to gain insight into your overall health status, discuss preventive screenings based on your family history and age, and monitor chronic conditions.
Why Agile is better than an emergency room visit for minor injuries
As workers' comp specialists we helps your employees get back to full duty as quickly and easily as possible. Our team is composed of experts in the field of Workers’ Compensation treatment and care who pride themselves on prompt employee recovery.
Providers who work for an urgent care organization or hospital emergency room are trained to treat injuries swiftly and efficiently as possible and are often inundated with high volumes of patients. Agile focuses on procedures that are commonly caused by workplace injuries. Examples include soft tissue foreign body removal, eye foreign body removal, joint dislocation treatment and fracture care. This results in:
Lower health care costs
Unnecessary ER visits by employees are an expensive cost to employers. Reduce these costs by sending workers with non-life-threatening medical issues to our clinic for faster, convenient, and more affordable care.
Benefits of Agile vs emergency room treatment
